Community of Practice

Sustaining the Work. Supporting the Movement.

Shifting how we think about accountability is no small task—it’s a paradigm change. That kind of transformation requires not only a strong start but ongoing support to sustain momentum over time.

The Community of Practice is designed for leaders and districts who have completed the Cohort experience or two years at the Pro or Base membership and are committed to keeping the work alive and thriving.

Why It Matters

Even after your accountability system is in place, challenges continue:

  • New leaders, board members, and trustees will join your district and need to understand how your system works
  • New teachers arrive each year—often from districts still using traditional accountability approaches
  • Sustaining the work means ensuring everyone is consistently onboard and up to speed

The Community of Practice helps make that possible—with resources, and a network of support built for long-term success.

What’s Included
  • Access to the bravEd Center—including exclusive content and forums for ongoing collaboration
  • A role in helping onboard others who are new to the work
  • Connection to a nationwide network of like-minded practitioners
A Grassroots Movement, Led by Practitioners

bravEd is a movement, not a top-down institution. It’s driven by educators and leaders doing the real work. But for that movement to remain strong and coherent—especially as we prepare to influence policy—it’s critical we stay connected around shared principles and practices.

The Community of Practice allows for local innovation while keeping the movement united and recognizable. It's how we balance flexibility with focus.
