Unfortunately, most dashboards are designed to summarize complex data with more complex data, and as a result don't communicate what school leaders truly need, which is to to understand in simple, clear, meaningful, trustworthy terms.

Creating dashboards is not a technological marvel, or all that complicated. Great dashboards are based on simple frameworks that anyone can learn, and can be carried out with the software already on you desktop.
